Kunal Kalra
Kunal Kalra is born and brought up in a semi-urban locality at Gurgaon in Hariyana. After completing under-graduate studies in Computer Science he has completed his BFA in Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi and MFA in Painting University of Hyderabad . He has also been trained in illustration, painting and 3D animation. His works are primarily based on research, investigating the depiction and purpose of life. He explores interactive genre, involving public participation that entails to use multimedia including lights. He has been inspired by liberal self-motivated spirituality which should be free from historical, social or political boundaries. He strongly believes in assimilation of Science, Philosophy and Arts as a tool to live life at its true and fullest potential. His major works are Dargah-e-ayenaah, Fatalist’s Game, Territory of the Winner.
